Another well-known tradition is British afternoon tea, where black tea is accompanied by scones, clotted cream and finger sandwiches. This practice, introduced in the 19th century, has become a popular social event that bridges the gap between lunch and dinner. In Morocco, mint tea is a symbol of hospitality, prepared by infusing green tea leaves with fresh mint and generous amounts of sugar, and served in small ornate glasses. Pouring the tea from a height aerates the liquid and enhances its flavours.

From the bustling cafes of New York City to the peaceful tea gardens of India, global coffee and tea culture continues to evolve, bringing people together through shared experiences and cherished traditions. Exploring these diverse customs not only deepens our appreciation for these beverages, but also highlights their unifying power across cultures and generations.
